In partnership with the Danish Road Directorate, the green solutions were tested in a new road bridge, which was completed in 2002. The bridge stands as tangible proof that the green types of concrete can be used in practice. The bridge has provided valuable experience with the use of green solutions in full scale, outside of the laboratory. It will also enable us to observe the durability of the new types of concrete over the next few years, when they are exposed to the Danish weather.
